Hi my name is Sarabi and I'm looking for a home.
Sarabi was the victim of backyard breeding. Poor living conditions as well as cross breeding had her at a disadvantage even before she was born. Being less than perfect means being useless to the breeders. Sarabi was born with underdeveloped legs and so she was dumped in the desert to starve. She was only 3 months old and didn’t stand a chance. She was lucky enough to be rescued and has been cared for since then in the shelter. As a 3 year old, she may be slower than most other dogs but she has just as much love for life. The trauma of being abandoned at such a young age left her shy and reserved, but once she warm up to people she is the sweetest dog. She gets along with other dogs and is leash trained. She has been tested with kids as young as 10 years but has not been tested with cats. She is vaccinated against parvo/distemper/rabies and microchipped/spayed.
Sarabi is best suited to a single owner or a family with older kids.
