Hi! My name is Oliver, and I am a playful, energetic, sociable boy. My sister Olive and I did not have the best of beginnings. Our mother tried her best to keep us safe and out of harm’s way, but unfortunately we lost her and 6 of our siblings to the dangers of busy roads and speeding cars. Thankfully, our rescuers got to us in time and brought us to safety. Soon after we were rescued, what seemed like a lovely family came forward to adopt us, now we know they weren’t so nice. 2 days after they took us home, the father brought my sister Olive back to the rescuer’s house but told them that he was going to keep me. He lied. He drove to a secluded road and threw me out of the car and drove away. I was scared, confused and did not know what to do. A kind soul found me and took me to the shelter where they accepted me with open arms. She also recognized a picture of me and Olive as puppies, and oh how thankful I am for reuniting us once again. I was born around December 2019. I get along really well with other dogs and I am always keen to greet new visitors at the shelter. Long walks are my absolute favourite thing to do. When it’s walkies time at the shelter, I jump the highest until I get someone’s attention and they cannot say no. Haha cheeky I know. Will you be my forever family?
