ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Mirai, I am around 3 to 4 years old. I am a small to medium sized girl. I’m very friendly and love to be around humans and I also get along well with other dogs. I’m quite chilled and easy going. I love it when visitors at the shelter take me out for walks – I am very good on the lead and one lovely human, who volunteers at the shelter regularly, often takes me out running with her; I trot alongside her happily with a waggy tail and in perfect step. I was abandoned at the shelter, along with my brother Kojo, without reason or justification. Maybe their circumstances changed, maybe they needed to move house, maybe they just didn’t want us anymore because we were no longer those two little puppies but rather adult dogs. I thought pets were family and for life, but to our previous humans, we obviously were not. People always tell me that I’m very smiley, my coat is super soft, and I have beautiful big brown eyes. All round, I’m a good girl just waiting for my furever home
