ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Makana and I am a sociable, friendly, sweet-natured girl. I am a mother, before anything else. I tried to protect my young but someone bigger and stronger made it impossible for me to keep all my puppies safe. I hid my puppies in a bush right beside the wall of what seemed like a dark, uninhabited house. I went off to find food but when I came back I could only find one puppy, Akamai, the others were removed and I never saw them again. Our rescuers told me later that my puppies were picked up by men with cages. I'm really happy that Akamai hid from them. You would be surprised, I am still very trusting of humans - you know what they say, dogs are the most forgiving beings on this planet. My rescuers believe I was born in January 2020. I am a healthy, loving, playful, medium-sized girl. Always eager to greet shelter visitors and beg them for cuddles. I taught my son Akamai to be just as friendly too. Will you be my forever family?
