Hi, my name is Jade, named after my green eyes. My rescuers estimate that I was born around the end of 2019. I didn’t have an easy beginning; I was born on the hot and lonely streets very close to a busy road. My mum tried her best to keep me safe and warned me about the road but I wanted to explore. One day I was walking across the street when I turned and saw a car coming right at me. I tried to run but the car didn’t slow down, I don’t remember much after that. The car had shattered my hips and back leg leaving me unable to walk, nobody stopped and helped me. I was stuck on the road almost lifeless but then I saw a kind hand reach down and pick me up. They rushed me to the vets where I had multiple operations to help me walk again and after many months of recovery I was fit and healthy again. I like going on walks and I’m very good on the leash. I’m a bit shy but very friendly, with both humans and dogs. I’ve never met a cat but I don’t think I’d mind. Due to my past surgeries I am not as fast as all my other friends, so I often get left behind or knocked over. I’d love to have a home where I can relax and be at peace.
Fine with other dogs, not tested with children. Friendly.
No medical issues.
