ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Italy and I am an affectionate, playful, sociable girl. I did my absolute best to protect my two young ones. I never wanted to leave them but I was torn between protecting them and feeding them. They were growing fast and food was scarce, I had to go off for longer periods of time to find enough food. I came back one night to find my boy missing, I looked for him until my paws were sore. I never saw him again and that tore my heart to bits. I was ever so grateful when our rescuers showed up, because that was the only time when I felt safe, and felt that my daughter would be in the safest hands. My humans believe I was born in 2018. I am medium sized, super friendly and always eager to say hello to visitors at the shelter. My gratitude makes me the perfect companion - will you be my forever family?
