Ursula is missing one eye but she makes up for it with her capacity to love.

Ursula is looking for an ADOPTER or TEMPORARY FOSTER home! For almost her entire life, Ursula has watched the world from the corners of a shelter room, quietly waiting for someone to finally choose her. At 9 years old, this beautiful girl has known more loneliness than comfort — but somehow, she has remained one of the gentlest souls you could ever meet. Many years ago, Ursula lost one of her eyes due to an injury. It gives her a unique beauty and a soft, wise expression that perfectly matches her personality. Because of her partial vision, she can sometimes be a little hesitant at first, especially around busy cats or sudden movement, but once she knows you’re kind, she melts into affection. She absolutely loves being petted and will lean in again and again for more love. Ursula is sweet, calm, and wonderfully polite. She gets along well with other cats, mostly keeping to herself and staying out of everyone’s business like the dignified lady she is. She’s also lovely with both adults and children alike. She isn’t demanding or dramatic — she simply wants kindness, safety, and someone to love her back. Older cats like Ursula are so often overlooked, but age is just a number. What Ursula offers is something special: quiet companionship, gratitude, softness, and a heart that has never stopped hoping despite years of being passed by. She doesn’t need perfection. She doesn’t need endless excitement. She just needs one person to finally show her what home feels like. After spending nearly her whole life in a shelter, Ursula deserves more than a cage and passing visitors. She deserves cozy naps, gentle hands, soft conversations, and the chance to feel chosen for the very first time. Some cats shine loudly. Ursula shines softly — and if you let her, she will fill your home with the kind of love that stays with you forever.
