ABOUT ME

In a shelter full of cats (at times reaching over 100!) sharing a confined space, it would be easy for any one cat to get lost in the chaos. But not Tangerine! This rare ginger Dilmun mix has always found a way to stand out, never shying away and making sure everyone knows he’s here to steal hearts. For at least 6 years, Tangerine’s world has been limited to the confines of the shelter. He has watched as cats have come and gone and although he is as charming as they come, with a sweet and vocal personality that makes him impossible to ignore, he has consistently been overlooked. With a beautiful and uniquely patterned coat, this slim and sleek cat is independent and confident. He also has the most endearing little fang that sticks out—earning him extra points in the "adorable" department! While he hasn’t yet made the leap to “lap cat” status, it’s clear he has the potential to thrive as the ultimate companion in a space where he doesn’t have to share human affection with dozens of other cats. Tangerine loves people, gets along great with other cats, and has never been shy about coming up for pets. His manners do need a little polishing (he’s been known to nip a bit when over-stimulated) but that’s nothing a patient and loving cat owner can’t handle.
