Nero is a four-year-old cat with a heart as big as his sturdy frame, but his time at the shelter is taking a toll. As an FIV+ cat, Nero’s immune system is compromised, and with the weather cooling, his health is at greater risk. Seeing him struggle in this environment is genuinely heartbreaking hence our appeal for a long term foster or adopter. This striking boy, with his rugged scars and soulful eyes, tells the story of a survivor from his days on the streets. But beneath that tough exterior lies a total softie who craves nothing more than love and companionship. He’s the ultimate velcro cat, always seeking attention and ready to reward you with head rubs, belly flops, and constant affection. Nero is not just loving—he’s incredibly intelligent, too. He’ll charm his way into your heart with his curiosity and gentle nature. He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart, longing for a warm home and someone to love him for the sweetheart he is.
