Dottie earned her name honestly: she sports one perfectly placed, show-stopping dot right on her chest, as if she dressed up for the occasion and never took it off. It’s her signature look, and she wears it proudly. Young, active, and fueled by equal parts curiosity and mischief, Dottie believes life is best lived in motion. She will happily follow you from room to room—not because she’s clingy, of course—but because clearly you require supervision. Cooking dinner? Folding laundry? Brushing your teeth? Dottie is there to ensure quality control. Playtime is her love language. Wand toys, crinkly balls, mysterious moving shadows—she’s ready to investigate them all with Olympic-level enthusiasm. She thrives when she’s engaged and included. If there’s fun happening, Dottie assumes she’s on the guest list. Dottie also gets along wonderfully with other cats. She enjoys having feline friends to romp with and seems to appreciate having a partner in crime for her daily adventures. And her inquisitive nature makes her especially endearing with children—her wide-eyed explorations, dramatic pounces, and serious investigations of the most ordinary objects provide endless laughs. Watching Dottie “discover” the world is a show the whole family can enjoy. As for affection, Dottie is a confident, self-aware queen. She’ll come to you when she’s ready for pets, grace you with her presence, soak up the love… and then make a dramatic exit while you’re still thinking, “Wait, come back!” She’s not exactly a lap cat—but she will circle back for encore affection sessions.
